This autumn camp aims to create an ephemeral Living lab for 4 days on the design thinking of multimedia self-learning systems. Archimede Living Lab is one of the three autumn camps of Lille World Design Capital. Archimede Living Lab’s originality lies in the participation of students, people in activity, project leaders, researchers, engineers, entrepreneurship , experts from the Hauts-de-France french region, Europe and from Africa joining to work together. Archimede Living Lab will train participants in the self-design method, based on the conceptual thinking approach and tools. The Living Lab Archimede will also be an opportunity to give perspectives and exchanges on the global crisis that the world is currently going through.

The Archimede Autumn Camp, an ephemeral Living Lab on the design thinking of digital self-learning systems, will take place during the World Lille Capital Lille Design design week (October 13-16, 2020).

Archimede Living Lab is one of the three Autumn Camps of the World Design Capital 2020. ARCHIMEDE Living Lab is open to a wide audience (students, engineers, designers, researchers, teachers, incubated project leaders / startups, applicants for professional retraining). This camp will also bring together experts from the Hauts-de-France region, Europe and Africa. The Archimede Living Lab is the result of the POC ARCHIMEDE concept, a concept having received both the WORLD CAPITAL LILLE DESIGN 2020 and DIGITAL AFRICA labels.

Archimede Living Lab will train participants in the self-design method, based on the conceptual approach and tools of design thinking. The Archimede Living Lab will also be an opportunity to provide avenues for perspectives and discussions in the global crisis the world is currently going through, with a focus on the needs of the French, European and African contexts.

The POC ARCHIMEDE will only be a step and the Archimede Living Lab is intended to be duplicated in France, Europe and Africa for next year and the years to come.
